An examination of selected laws, programs, benefits and services that form the basis of social welfare policy in the United States. This course focuses on social welfare policy analysis and its application. The structure of service delivery systems, organizations and social inequities in service delivery is considered in the context of policy analysis. Advocacy and other change strategies that promote social and economic justice are explored.
